    Reading Tips (suggestions)

    A. Have everything ready:
    ●  something to read
    ●  marker to highlight(标出) difficult words
    ●  dictionary
    ●  your vocabulary book
    ●  pen to write down the new words
    B. Choose a magazine or a book about a subject that you like, because you are going to spend time and
         money on it. You can also read newspapers.
    C. Read something that you can, more or less, understand. If you need to stop every three words to look
         in a dictionary, it will not be interesting for you and you will soon feel frustrated.
    D. For example, read for a short time once a day. Fifteen minutes every day is better than two hours every
         Sunday. Set time to read and keep to it. For example, you could read for fifteen minutes before you go
         to bed, or when you get up, or at lunchtime.
    E. If there  are four or  five new words on a  page, write them in your  vocabulary book. But don't  write
        them while you read. Instead, as you read, try to guess their meanings first. Mark them with a pen and
        then come back for them after you have finished reading. Then you can check in a  dictionary  before
        you add them in your vocabulary book.

科普类的阅读理解包含介绍科学知识、社会知识的短文。阅读这类短文时,要以事实为中心进行思考,抓住事物的特征、用途、相互关系等。

   关键词做上记号,尤其是各段中心句,为答题提供更快捷更多的信息源。
2. 审清题干,发觉和把握试题中有效的提示性信息,确认命题的角度、阅读范围和答题方式。
3. 定位阅读,强化对应意识。同时要注意原文利用和自我加工相结合。
