TORONTO - A new report from the Vanier Institute for the family says that there are more problem children today than 50 years ago.
York University professor Anne Ambert, the writer of the report, says that bad influences on children come from parents, schools, neighbors, themedia(媒体), etc.
Children today have bad behavior. They argue more with others. They stop others when others are
talking. They are less polite to others. They choose to fight rather than discuss when they disagree with
each other. When they have disagreements with their parents, they want to run away from home. They

There is not enough family education about how kids behave well. Parents should care more about
their kids. There are more and more single-parent families and moreviolence(暴力) on TV and in other
kinds of media.
