"Good evening, Ted." she said.
"Good evening, Mum." I answered.

I took off my coat and sat down. My mother sat next to me.

"At 8: 05." I answered. "Wasn't the teacher angry?"
"No. He wasn't in the classroom. He was late, too. He sat in front of me on the train."
