①只做情态动词:must,can(could),may(might)……
③具有情态动词特征:have(had,has) to,used to,ought to
④情态动词表猜测:一肯一否三不定(must一肯,can not一否,may,might,could,三不定。)
注:mustn't代表强烈禁止 must表示主观,have to表示客观。
常用的有:can may could must have use .(can, may, must, should, need)
例:Kate can swim.
May I borrow your dictionary, Ann?
Shall we meet at seven o’clock tomorrow?
比较can 和be able to:
be able to可以用于各种时态。例如:
They will be able to tell you the news soon.
2.只用be able to的情况:
e.表示成功地做了某事时,用was/were able to,不能用could。例如:
He was able to flee Europe before the war broke out.= He managed to flee Europe before the war broke out.
Could I have the television on?
Yes, you can. / No, you can't.
He couldn't be a bad man.
比较may和might:
May God bless you!
He might be at home.
2.成语:may/might as well,后面接不带to 的不定式,意为"不妨"。例如:
If that is the case, we may as well try.
比较have to和must:
My brother was very ill, so I had to call the doctor in the middle of the night.
He said that they must work hard.
He had to look after his sister yesterday.
3.否定结构中:don't have to表示"不必",mustn't表示"禁止"。例如:
You don't have to tell him about it.
You mustn't tell him about it.
比较shall和should:
1).shall
What shall we do this evening?
①. You shall fail if you don’t work hard.(警告)
②. He shall have the book when I finish it.(允诺)
③. He shall be punished.(威胁)
will和would的用法:
Would you pass me the book?
I will never do that again.
They asked if we would do that again.
3.用“will be”和“will(would) + have + 过去分词”的结构表示推测,主要用于第二、三人称。
This will be the book you want.
He will have arrived by now.
The guests would have arrived by that time.
I thought you would have finished this by now.
Everyday he will sit here hour after hour doing nothing.(习惯)
Will you help me with my English?(请求)
The door won't open.
The wound would not heal.
During the vacation he would visit me every week。
It would be about ten when he left home.
What would she be doing there?
I thought he would have told you all about it.
can"能力"may"许可",must"责任"或"义务"。
should"应该",would"愿",haveto"被迫"表客观。
①经常性或习惯性动作;
②长期存在的特征或状态;
Li Ming always helps the old man.
We usually go to school on foot.
They sometimes go fishing on Sundays.
A bird flies with wings.

verbs of the senses: hear,see,taste,smell,feel
verbs of the thinking: believe,know,mean,realize,think,remember
verbs of the linking: dislike,fear,heat,like,love,want
verbs of the possession: belong,have,own,possess
We will go to Shanghai next year.
We are going to have a football match tomorrow.
Tom is going to have a bath.
1、will / shall + 动词原形(否定句在will/shall后加not)
I'll,she'll,he'll,it'll,we'll,you'll,they'll。
其简略答语须是Yes,I will或 No,I won't;如用 Shall I…?(较少见)其简略答语须是 Yes,I shall.或 No, I shall not.
I will / shall go to visit him next week.
What time shall we go there tomorrow?
2、be going to 动词原形
There is going to be a football match this afternoon.
I‘m going to go to the park.
I expect, I'm sure, I think, I wonder宾语从句"中。
Don't worry about the exam. I'm sure you'll pass.
Work hard and you will succeed.
I'll let you know as soon as he arrives.
I think that he will help us.——I don’t think that he will help us.
I believe that he is right.——I don’t believe that he is right.
I suppose that he likes it.——I don’t suppose that he likes it.
I think math difficult. — I don’t think math difficult.
I find the story interesting. — I don’t find the story interesting.
I expect so. —I don’t expect so.
I believe and hope he won’t do that.
I feel and admit that we are not foolish.
Do you think it is not going to rain?
Don’t you believe that he has done a good thing?
Li Lei, I think, won’t be angry with you.
Tom, I suppose, won’t be against it.
Mike, I believe, hasn’t seen the film.
I really don’t think it’s necessary for us to go there now.
I feel strongly that he shouldn’t do such a thing.
I thought that he wouldn’t come back soon.
She didn’t believe that he became a good boy.
He thinks that he isn’t fit for the job.
He doesn’t believe that what we told him is true.
6.当宾语从句中含的否定为“not……at all”、“not a little”、“not a few”、“not enough”、“can’t help”等固定搭配时,否定不转移。如:
I think that he doesn’t know it at all.
I suppose that it is not enough to remember the words if you want to learn the language well.
I believe that you can’t help singing our national anthem when you win the first place in the Olympic Games.
7.当宾语从句中含“no”、“nothing”、“nobody”、“nowhere”、“hardly”、“seldom”、“little”、“few”等否定词或半否词时,否定不转移。如:
I believe that nothing can make me give it up.
I think that no one can escape if the ship sinks in the sea.
I suppose that he is a man of few words.
They are in the swimming pool.
Are they in the swimming pool?
He can drive a car.
Can he drive a car?
1.把have/has调到句首。例如:
Tommy has a computer.
Has Tommy/he a computer?
2.加助动词do/does,第三人称单数用does,其他人称用do。其句型为:Do/Does + 主语 + have...?
Does Tommy have a computer?
Amy speaks English.
Does Amy speak English?
-Is Mary your sister?
-Yes, she is. / No, she isn’t.(缩写)
-May I come in?
-Yes, you may. / No, you can’t.
1.直接用have/has回答。
例如:
-Have they any pictures?
-Yes, they have. / No, they haven’t.
2.用助动词do/does回答。
例如:
-Does Millie smoke?
-Yes, she does. / No, she doesn’t.
-Do the workers live in London?
-Yes, they do. / No, they don’t.
what(询问事物), how much(询问价格),what time (询问时间,尤其是点钟), what kind of(询问种类),why(询问原因),who(询问人), where(询问地点) 等等。如:
—What is this?
—It's a key.
—How much is it?
—It's twenty dollars.
—What kind of movies do you like?
—I like action movies.
What time is it?
Who is your teacher?
— What time is it, please?
— It's 7:30.
— Where are they?
—They're in the playground.
—What's your favorite subject?
—English.
Who's ↘that?
How old is↘Jack?
Who is singing in the room﹖
whose bike is broken﹖
What does she like?
What class are you in﹖
Where are you from﹖
What time does he get up every morning﹖
How do you know﹖
1. We can go to the park on foot.(改成否...”
