I am a 14-year-old boy and I’m quite strong and healthy, but I was a bit fat one year ago, because I
often ate chips and chocolate and I got tired easily. One Sunday morning I saw some young men running
in the park. They looked really fit and active, so I decided to start running.
Now I have a 1.5-mile run every morning on the playground in our school and running has become my
favorite sport. And I drink milk and eat fresh fruit and vegetables instead of chips and chocolate. Healthy
eating habits and running in the morning help to build me up. Now I have great fun running and I feel
good and look fit and strong. I’m sure I will do well in the boys’ 800-meter race in our school sports
meeting.
