    阅读理解。
    A magician (魔术师) was working on a ship. He had different audiences (观众) each week, so he allowed
    himself to show the same program over and over again. There was only one problem. The captain's parrot
    saw the shows each week and began to understand how the magician did every step.
    Once he understood, he started shouting in the middle of every show, "Look, that's not the same hat! Now
    he's hiding the flowers under the table! Hey, why are all the cards the same?"
    The magician was very angry but couldn't do anything about it, because it was the captain's parrot.
    One day an accident happened-the ship sank! The magician found himself on a piece of wood in the middle
    of the ocean with the parrot.
    They looked at each other, but did not say a single word for days.
    After a week, the parrot said, "OK, I give in (投降). Where did you hide the ship?"

故事类阅读注意:
